Gothic Total War - Bugs und Probleme

  • The range of the mages is very limitied, or else they'd be way too powerful.


    Also, it is often an issue that some of your own units are standing too close to them, so they're not firing. But when they do, they are just as devastating as they should be. If you think them too strong, try killing them with your archers. They'll die like flies ;)

    konnte jetzt die letzten Tage nen paar Stunden von der Mod anspielen. Gefällt mir bisher sehr gut. :happy clapping:
    Nen paar Bugs/Anmerkungen hätte ich aber:


    1. Habe mir nicht die komplette .exe sondern die einzelnen 7z Datien geladen. Leider gingen diese nicht mit WinRar zu entpacken. Musste mich dann mit 7 Zip File Manager begnügen, dann konnte ich die erste Datei entpacken. Da es bis zu 4,83 GB sind, nehme ich mal an das ist die komplette Mod gewesen und er hat gleich alle 3 Datein entpackt. Soweit ist das natürlich kein Bug, wäre nur sehr nett wenn es dafür eine Anleitung gebe...


    2. Erster Bug -> Rebellen spawnen direkt am Anfang als Söldner. Leider konnte ich die Rebellen nicht angreifen, da diese ein Stück unterhalb der westlichen Brücke von Onars Hof gespawnt sind. Beim Neustart gings dann.


    3. Nachdem ich meinen Helden in Runenerstellung ausgebildet habe, wollte ich nun diese Runen den Charakteren zuordnen. Leider bekomme ich nur die Events der diversen Runen aber diese werden bei Klick auf den General /Magier etc. nicht zugeordnet. Habe das auch Einzeln ausserhalb der Stadt probiert. Dies funktioniert weder während noch nach Bestätigung des Events.


    4.Sobald ich zwei Generäle ohne Lebensweg habe, funktioniert das Zuweisen des Lebensweges nicht richtig.
    Ich kann den General zwar auswählen, vor Betätigen des letzten Events aber auch hier keine Zuweisung. Weder innerhalb der Stadt noch einzeln außerhalb. Zudem viel mir auf, das sollte nur ein General ohne Lebensweg sein, immer genau der falsche Lebensweg zugeordnet wurde :confused: ( Also bzp. Stadthalter anstatt Krieger)


    5. Bei Schlachten mit Verbündeten fehlt zudem der Kopf des verbündeten Generals oben in der Anzeige (nicht wirklich wichtig)


    6. Da meine Runen nicht funktionierten, habe ich versucht das Inventar meines Abenteuerers zu leeren. Leider passiert nachdem ich die Lupe gedrückt habe und der Ereignis bestätige absolut gar nix. Der Held hat immernoch die selbe Anzahl an Zutaten in seinem Inventar. Wenn ich zudem auf die Lupe drücke, bekomme ich immer das Event des Geldleihens und das Event für das inventar. Ist das so gewollt?


    7. Das Zuweisen ging leider auch nicht beim Schmieden, selber Fehler wie oben.


    So das wars erstmal. Tolle Mod von euch, macht weiter so. :happy clapping: :prost:

    Das liegt daran, dass der General der Anführer oder Erbe der Rebellen ist, das würde man glaub ich auch im normalen Medieval so sehen, ist aber recht einfach zu beheben.
    [spoil]Man geht in GothictW/data/text such dort nach expanded und öffnet die Datei mit einem Textbearbeitungprogramm (wie der Editor, der eh drauf ist)
    dort sucht man nach
    {EMT_SLAVE_FACTION_LEADER_TITLE}!DO NOT TRANSLATE! PLAYER SHOULD NOT SEE THIS!
    {EMT_SLAVE_FACTION_HEIR_TITLE}!DO NOT TRANSLATE! PLAYER SHOULD NOT SEE THIS!
    Das rote kann man ersetzen, wie man lustig ist (bloß eben das wird dann im Spiel angezeigt, falls du den richtigen Namen des Generals sehen willst, musst du einfach noch ein %S hinhängen z.B König %S und für nur den Namen sollte nur %S reichen.)
    Ich hoffe, ich verbreite nicht mein Halbwissen :D [/spoil]

    Der 7z-Upload ist von uns und stammt nicht direkt vom GTW Team, dementsprechend nicht deren schuld, da man mit 7-Zip aber auch nur eine Datei entpacken kann und das entpacken genau so geht wie bei anderen Packprogrammen fand ich da eine weiterführende Erklärung nicht notwendig. Das man es mit 7-Zip entpacken soll stand aber nicht grundlos dabei ;)

    Man benötigt bestimmte Gebäude dazu. Lies dir die Texte der Gebäudeoptionen durch und schau, welches dir fehlt.

  • Der Log... das war das alle erste, nach 5 min spielzeit und liegt jetzt ewig zurück...
    Bei den Gebäuden... ich wusste nicht, dass man 0 Rekrutierungsplätze haben kann...

    Schon wieder scheints an Bakaresh zu liegen, ein Fix vllt?

  • Also das Bild, das dort erwähnt wird ist auf jeden Fall drin....GothicTW/data/ui/southern_european/eventpics/erobert_bakkaresh.tga
    Ich habe nämlich selbst eine Release-Version gezogen, da ich längere Zeit nicht mehr da war.


    Normalerweise zählt nur das, was mit [error] gekennzeinet ist.
    Würde in diesem Fall aber nicht wirklich weiterhelfen..... vielleicht kann Amon mal kurz ins Script schauen...?! :)

    Hast du den Ctd Fix aus dem Downloadthread schon installiert. Der behebt das Problem mit dem Bakkaresh-Event. Wenn du den hast, dann liegt es an etwas anderem.
    Und lade die log Datei am besten als komplette Datei hoch. Du musst sie vielleicht als zip-Datei verpacken, damit du sie hochladen kannst aber das hilft viel mehr weiter, als die log Datei im Spoiler.

  • Hallo ich bin Neu im Forum . Ich Spiele in GTW Onars Söldner und nach einigen Runden stürzt das Spiel ab.


    Also genauer, ich schau gerade auf das Alte Lager und habe das ganze Land mit Wachtürmen enthölt. Wenn ich dann die Runde beende, stürzt es bei den Orks des Südens ab. Aber erst wenn sich eine bestimmte Armee bewegt.


    Ich dachte ein Neustart würde das Problem beheben, aber es hat nicht geholfen. Erst als ich dann wären der Warte Zeit, beim Rundenbeendung aufs Festland geschaut.


    Dann gab es keine Probleme und auch keine Abstürze mehr.


    Vielleicht liegt es an den Texturen.


    Wenn es Fragen gibt schreibt mich an.

  • Ich habe zwei Probleme
    1. 7.Zip entpackt nur den ersten der drei Downloadparts (habe die Mod hier vom TotalWarForum runtergeladen)
    bei den anderen zweien steht was von "Archiv nicht gefunden"
    2. Wo ist der Mod Ordner für Medieval2, kann ihn nirgends finden (hab die Gold Edition von Software Pyramide)
    Okay hab den Modordner gefunden, mal sehen ob die anderen zwei Teile sich entpacken lassen
    der zweite und dritte teil lässt sich noch immer nicht entpacken, steht bei 7.zip Archiv nicht gefunden.

    Wer Rechtschreibfehler in meinen Postings findet, der kann mich freundlich darauf hinweißen, oder lieber gleich für sich behalten.

  • Ähm du musst glaube ich sowieso nur den ersten entpacken.
    Ist normalerweise eine Installationsanwendung (.exe) in der alle Daten der 3 Archive zusammengefasst werden.
    Sollte reichen wenn du nur den ersten entpackst, außer du hast die Dateien umbenannt oder in verschiedene Ordner gelegt.
